Here at NB Dental we are pleased to be able to offer a referral service for Oral surgery, Sedation and Implants thanks to Dr Baker being here full time.
Dr Baker has gained a wide range of experience working at Newcastle dental hospital and various private practices in the area. He has an interest in Oral surgery and Implants. Dr Baker can offer IV sedation for nervous patients in our modern, newly refurbished surgery.
Dr Baker can offer implant placement and/or restoration. Dr Baker would be more than happy to accept referrals for failing or complex implants that may need more advanced care. The choice is yours as to how involved with the care you wish to be, and we will always ensure your patient returns to yourselves for routine treatment and maintenance.
Dr Baker is trained to provide all types of dental sedation. He is a member of SAAD and has vast experience in treating a wide range of cases under IV and RA sedation.
Currently the practice is set up to provide IV sedation, this has proved to be the most useful and effective way of reducing anxiety in dental phobic patients.
Dr Baker has experience in removing impacted 8s, retained roots, fractured roots and simple teeth. Aid of sedation for most procedures can be completed in the dental surgery. Each patient will be assessed, and an appropriate treatment plan devised. We can accept urgent referrals for removal under Local Anaesthetic. Please call us on our working hours.
Please follow NICE guidelines for removal of wisdom teeth.
We request you provide all relevant diagnostics and medical history at the time of referral.
Please provide all relevant radiographs.
We have an OPG and CBCT scanning facility here and are happy to accept referrals for extraoral images.
