All our crowns are custom made in a local laboratory to our exact specifications and prescription, ensuring the best aesthetic and fluctional results.
There are a variety of materials, and we will take the time to explain all of these to you helping you to make the best decision for your teeth. The process is completed over two appointments, the first of around one hour to prepare the tooth, take accurate, digital impressions and construct lifelike temporaries to protect the teeth while the crowns are being made.
After two weeks you will return remove the temporaries and permanently cement the bespoke crown in place.
We now have the technology to make your crown on the same day. The completely digital process allows us to mill crowns from a block of material, this avoids the need for temporary crowns and a second visit.
Our digital workflow systems are set up to make your treatment as smooth and swift as possible. These technologies also allow us to educate our patients using vital visual aids that help you to better-comprehend how a prospective treatment will benefit you, and how certain lifestyle habits might be affecting your oral health.
We now have the full digital workflow to provide same day crowns using the CEREC system, enabling more streamlined and predictable restorative treatments.
